The future of the gates at the Brentford Dock estate will be discussed by councillors on June 10.
The planning committee will meet to decide whether to progress with a section 4 direction which prohibits the dock from barring people access to its grounds.

Tonight the fourth and final episode in a beautifully-shot documentary series on Kew Gardens will be aired on Channel 5.
The documentary, Kew Gardens: A Year in Bloom, was filmed at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst, Kew's wild botanic garden in Sussex during lockdown in 2020.

Syon House derives its name from Syon Abbey, a medieval monastery of the Bridgettine Order, founded in 1415 on a nearby site by King Henry V.
The abbey moved to the site now occupied by Syon House in 1431. It was one of the wealthiest nunneries in the country and a local legend recites that the monks of Sheen had a tunnel running to the nunnery at Syon.

Richmond council launched the legal process to move the group last week and the High Court gave the Council powers to evict them.

The Department for Transport has announced it will contribute up to one third of the costs required to reopen Hammersmith Bridge which closed to all users in August 2020.
The funding will be provided as part of a new joint deal between the Department for Transport (DfT), TfL and London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
