Site Name: UK - London - BrentfordPosted Date: Feb Role :Senior Change Manager - GRC ( Governance, Risk and Compliance )Job Purpose: GSK Digital and Tech is looking for an experienced, organised, self-driven, and results-oriented technology OCM manager to lead the various process improvement initiatives to help streamline and simplify the current IT Management System (ITMS), Smart Controls, Tech Policies and Procedures. As part of the GRC Transformation programme, you will contribute to GSK's objective to increase speed and agility of the business and improve the compliance and quality culture across Tech.Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with appropriate leaders and project sponsors to understand OCM demands and requirements
  • Ensure appropriate resource allocation and onboarding supplementary resources via Strategic Partners for support of global work packages
  • Lead a matrix team to deliver solutions and processes in support of project objectives and requirements - leading the project team and motivation all team members with clear direction and communication
  • Manage OCM plans, budget, risks and issues, calling out to senior management when appropriate
  • Identify and actively monitor delivery of external dependencies
  • Work closely with other GSK Tech groups to ensure adequate resources are deployed to ensure delivery
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Tech to identify appropriate resourcing plans, leveraging both internal resources and contracting with strategic partners to deliver defined deliverables
  • Ensure effective communications planning, leadership identification and engagement, regular status reporting to key business leaders, both within GRC (internal) and with the appropriate programme (customer)
  • Build close working relationships with customers, engineering teams and relevant business contacts to ensure confidence is built and maintained, and all parties are informed and engaged during the project
  • Establishes strategic direction in assigned area, by influencing and negotiating successful outcomes with senior leaders inside and outside of GRC (at SVP, VP and Tech LT levels)
  • Recommends and manages intelligent risk taking, with high transparency and with a clear willingness to be held accountable
  • Supports leadership address high risk, high impact situations with clear analysis, high transparency and a sense of partnership, even if faced with significant adversity or major obstacles
Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Hands on experience in delivering large process improvement related projects in large scale global Life Sciences
  • Significant demonstrable experience delivering complex projects/programmes
  • Experience with managing project schedules, finances, risks and issues
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical topics, particularly in the bot migration space in sufficient detail to effectively communicate with customers and Tech delivery teams
  • Project governance and experience with Agile standards and procedures
  • Completion of Project Management or Agile Training Curriculum
  • Experience of managing matrix teams
  • Experience of senior leader management
Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • High tenacity in resolving and removing strategic obstructions and difficulties, so as to achieve the best strategic results in a timely manner
  • Ability to make decisions as these have a direct impact on the organization's ability to achieve major organizational objectives or long-range goals and could jeopardize future business activity across a number of key areas in the organization if unsuccessful
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible, adapting to the demands of the customers.
  • Technical knowledge to understand projects and trade-off choice
  • Lean Sigma
