If so, we invite you to join our exceptional team as an AI Architecture Strategy Leader.As the AI Architecture Strategy Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's AI and GenAI direction and ensuring our initiatives align with our strategic objectives. You will build & lead a team of talented professionals and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and optimize AI and GenAI architecture strategies that drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage. Key Responsibilities:
  • AI and GenAI Strategy Development:
    • Develop and drive the overall AI and GenAI architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
    • Identify opportunities for AI and GenAI adoption, innovation, and optimization at a scale across Commercial & Medical functions.
  • Team Leadership & Cross Team collaboration:
    • Build, Lead & collaborate with a team of AI architects, GenAI specialists, data scientists, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
    • Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support in their career growth.
  • Technology Assessment:
    • Stay current with AI and GenAI deployment trends, emerging technologies, and industry benchmarks.
    • Align technical implementation with existing and future requirements.
    • Evaluate and select the most suitable AI and GenAI technologies and tools to support strategic objectives.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI and GenAI project requirements, ensuring successful implementation.
    • Work closely with senior leadership to communicate the value and impact of AI and GenAI architecture strategies.
  • AI and GenAI Infrastructure Planning:
    • Define and oversee the development of AI and GenAI infrastructure, including hardware, software, and data management systems.
    • Ensure scalability and reliability of AI and GenAI solutions.
    • Factor in cost optimisation from the ground up, to ensure long term commercial scalability.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of AI and GenAI architecture strategies.
    • Continuously optimize AI and GenAI solutions to improve performance and ROI.
    • Implement explainability by design, to ensure long term viability and trust.
  • Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure AI and GenAI systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Pioneer and develop standards where required in this fast moving technology domain.
    • Implement robust security measures to protect AI and GenAI assets and data.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in AI architecture, with a track record of successfully leading ML and deep learning strategy development and implementation. An in-depth knowledge of components and architectural trade-offs involved across the data governance, model building, deployment and production workflows of AI is a must.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, GenAI technologies, and AI in combination with GenAI and the underlying frameworks, algorithms and methodologies involved.
  • Strong understanding of ML and DevOps workflows and tools such as Git, containers, and CI/CD options.
  • Deep understanding of end to end model management & qualification pipelines and other "explainability" methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
  • Understand cloud based deployment models especially in Azure.
  • Understand cost optimisation & management across the full compute stack.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven experience in building world class AI teams and the differentiating skill selections required.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • PhD in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Pharmaceutical or Healthcare experience good to have
  • Experience in deploying AI and GenAI solutions at scale is a plus.
  • Industry certifications in AI or GenAI are advantageous.+
