Brentford Event of the Week: Guardians of the Planet! Planet-positive workshop for kids

ARE you looking for things to do in Brentford this week?

Our top pick for this week is a series of workshops for children called 'Guardians of the Planet', happening this weekend.
This event is taking place during the Hounslow Footprints Festival of the Environment.
Hounslow Arts Centre is calling on young people of Hounslow to come and help look after the borough!
The event promises a series of 'fun-filled, energetic workshops', exploring climate and recycling for 8 - 11 year olds.
'Guardians of the Planet!' will aim to teach young people all about recycling, using the right bins for different materials, and apparently much more.
The event is pay what you decide.
There will be a session at 12:30 pm for 8–11 year olds and at 1:45 pm for 4-7 year olds on Saturday (2 October).
On Sunday (3 October) there is also a session at 11 am, for 8-11 year olds, and 1 pm, for 4-7 year olds.

The event will take place at the Arts Centre, situated at The Treaty Shopping Centre, High St, Hounslow TW3 1ES.
The two-week long Footprints Festival festival is running from 27 September - 10 October.
It aims to improve the environment and air quality, free parks and streets of litter and increase bee and wildlife population, starting with a series of family friendly events across Hounslow.
