Plants & trees, folklore and practice

Boston Manor Park, Boston Manor Rd, TW8 9JU

2-3.30pm

This walk and talk is aimed more for an adult audience.

Meet on the main lawn by the Manor House. A free walk and talk, but booking required, please email [email protected]. Andrea Bugari will take us on a fascinating, guided walk in the park to look at the ethnobotany of selected plants and trees. Ethnobotany is the study of the interrelationship between people and plants, historically and cross-culturally, particularly the role of plants in human culture and practices, how humans have used and modified plants, and how they represent them in their systems of knowledge and folklore.
