1. The Old Oak (15)
About: The future for the last remaining pub, The Old Oak in a village in the Northeast England, where people are leaving the land as the mines are closed.
The pub becomes contested territory after the arrival of Syrian refugees who are placed in the village without any notice.
In an unlikely friendship TJ meets a curious young Syrian Yara (Ebla Mari). Can they find a way for the two communities to understand each other?

3. Halloween Spooktacular - Duke of London
About: Duke of London is hosting a "spine-chilling" Halloween Party.
The event listing says: "Your master of ceremonies will be the award winning Aidan Sadler! Described as a 'Demonic David Bowie' he will guide us through our night of frightful surprises!
"We will have Heavy Metal Pete! a wonderfully twisted weirdo. He is a sword swallower, whip cracker, sideshow performer and fire artist; he specialises in danger and doing what cannot or should not be done for your entertainment and enjoyment.
"The incredible Malik Ibheis! A creature performer who has played all sorts of weird, wonderful and terrifying creatures in countless movies and tv shows! Who knows what creature he will inhabit on the night!"
