This season, audiences are invited to experience one of the most enchanting works in the classical repertoire in an entirely new light — quite literally. Candlelight: A Tribute to Scheherazade brings Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's sweeping orchestral suite to St Mary's Church in Osterley, Isleworth illuminated by the warm glow of hundreds of candles, offering a musical journey through the tales of One Thousand and One Nights.

Inspired by the legendary storyteller who wove nightly tales to save her life, Scheherazade unfolds through four vivid movements — from the roar of The Sea and Sinbad's Ship to the whirlwind finale of Festival at Baghdad. Performed live by local ensemble 'Hounslow Symphony Orchestra', the concert transforms this beloved symphonic poem into a spellbinding, sensory experience unlike a traditional concert hall performance.
