About: A Haunting in Venice is set in eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows' Eve.

Now retired and living in self-imposed exile in the world's most glamorous city, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo.

When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.

2. National Trust:

About: The National Trust is offering visitors a free single-use pass for entry to one of over 500 sites across the country.

The pass includes all National Trust sites excluding these exemptions.

The free pass is eligible for local sites such as Osterley Park & House, Ham House & Garden, Claremont Landscape Garden and The Homewood.

It allows free entry for two adults and up to three children, one adult and up to four children, or two adults on their own.

Time: 18 September to 20 October

Where: Osterley Park & House National Trust site - Jersey Rd, Isleworth TW7 4RB

Price: Free admission.

3. The Rose & Crown - Live Music

About: The Rose & Crown is a historical club in Heston village that is having a live music event with artist Scott Emery.

Time: Saturday 30 September. Opening hours 12pm-12am
