Watermans will remain open up to an including Wednesday and has announced plans to refund those who have booked tickets for events later this month.
The arts and culture centre is also offering a number of online events that will be available during the second Covid-19 lockdown which starts on Thursday.
The centre said: "Over the coming few days, we will be contacting everyone with a ticket booked between Thursday 5 November and Wednesday 2 December.
"Please be reassured that we will offer you a refund on your ticket, but it may take us a few days to get through all bookers. If you are able to, you may also consider donating the value of your ticket to Watermans to help us through this difficult time.
"We have loved being open again since August and are very sad to be in this position again but, as ever, we will be back open as soon as we possibly can be.
"While we are closed you can continue to contact the box office team via the box office number 0208 232 1010 from 2-7pm daily; or you can email us at [email protected].
"Unlike last lockdown, we now have some online events that are really well established: so our cinema club No Ticket Required and our workshops for children with SEND will continue.
"We'll continue to send film, performance and family recommendations by email so look out for those to fill dark evenings."
