TWO men have burgled a house on Albany Road in Brentford after pretending to be from the water board.

According to OWL (Online Watch Link), two men entered the house at 1pm on Thursday, August 5, under false pretences saying they were from the water board.

OWL is urging residents not to let people into their property if they're not sure.

"If you do not expect any visitors and have no appointments, DO NOT let people into your property.

"Challenge who they are. Ask for ID.

"If unsure, close the door and call the police on 999."
