THE Six Bells Pub in Brentford is set to reopen today as an LGBTQ venue.
After two years of being closed, the popular pub located at 148 High Street, will reopen its doors to the public at 6pm today (July 30), under new landlord, Peter Clark, following renovation works that have been taking place in recent weeks.
Peter took to Facebook to announce that the pub will reopen as an LGBTQ venue but will be open to all.
The venue will have regular live music and a wide gin selection, with nine different brands available to start off with.
A food menu will also be launched in the near future too.
Local residents on Facebook were very excited with the news, including Brentford and Isleworth MP, Ruth Cadbury, who wrote: "Good news! Brentford/Hounslow has had no gay venue for a long time and it's good to see all are welcome.
"Good luck with the new venture."
This comes as earlier this month it was also announced that The Six Bells was looking to fill three vacancies.
