DOG owners are encouraged to bring their pets along for a dog show at The Coach & Horses today (July 31) at 6pm.
Puppy prizes will be up for grabs as contestants get the chance to win some dog treats if they are voted the 'cutest pooch'.
Anyone will be allowed to enter their dog for the competition held at today's Market Day, organised by the Isleworth pub with the aim to bring good cheer back to the community.
The dog show will take place in-between music sets from local musicians including Jim Sole and Eliot Ash, who will be performing live in the garden.
The pubs marketing and events manager Stanley commented that they get a lot of dog walkers coming in from neighbouring Syon Park, who they wanted to include in the festivities.
Stanley said: "We want a big event to bring all members of the local community back together again."
Stanley is optimistic that the weather will be dry and sunny for the show to avoid any wet paws.
The market is the first of its kind at the venue, with plans to make it a regular monthly or bi-monthly occurrence, depending on the success of the weekend.
Other activities include: a chef's barbecue, a Caribbean grill, a book sale and kid's educational games organised by the Kumon centre.
