Syon Park will today and tomorrow open its gardens to the public for free to allow local residents a space for quiet contemplation in the wake of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's death.

Visitors to Syon House can enter for the reduced rate of £5 on both Wednesday and Thursday, and are invited to sign a book of condolence for Her Majesty.

A selection of photos of Queen Elizabeth throughout her reign will be on display and will show her close connections with the Percy family.

Following the announcement of the death of HM Queen Elizabeth, the Rewilding Arcadia events due to take place at Syon House this week were cancelled.
