The opening of the new Syon Park garden centre and farm shop looks imminent.

Signage for Hillier has been put up - they are the new company that have taken over the site.

Equipment was also seen being delivered on Wednesday morning.

Work inside the venue looks as though it is virtually complete.

Hillier says the centre is opening this spring but an exact date has yet to be announced.

With pandemic restrictions being partially lifted in April, there is speculation the opening will be around mid-April.

The new centre will feature a garden shop with plants and gardening accessories along with gifts.

It will also include a farm shop offering locally-produced produce as well as a new cafe and a separate restaurant.
