Santander bank in Chiswick High Road to close

The Chiswick branch of Santander is one of 111 branches set for closure.
The High Road bank will close its doors on July 15.
The bank said this was as a result of a customer drive towards online banking but it expects to retain a "significant" number of the staff affected.
It said its decision - aided by COVID-19 disruption - would be implemented by the end of August and leave it with 452 high street sites.
The bank added that most of those to be closed down would be within three miles of another branch.
