The route carrying the Queen's coffin to her final resting place in St's George's Chapel Windsor will be filled with tens of thousands of people.

Many of the surrounding roads though west London, which are a short trip via rail or bus for people from Richmond borough, have already been closed.

These closures include Kew Bridge Road, north of the bridge, and the many roads around Syon Park.

The line of the route from Westminster Abbey through central London to the west mainly involves using the A4 (Great West Road) through to Hammersmith and then on to the A30 (Great South West Road).

It involves turning on to the A4 at the Hogarth roundabout in Chiswick and continuing along the A4 close to the rail stations at Kew Bridge, Brentford and Syon Lane.

Further to the west, the funeral cortege will pass Osterley Tube Station and on past Hounslow West. It will then continue through to Staines and alongside the River Thames at Runnymede

The Queen's coffin will enter the grounds of Windsor Castle through Shaw Farm Gate and head north before finally arriving at St George's Chapel for the service, which begins at 4pm.
