Primark on Hounslow High Street will soon be offering a click and collect service on kidswear and nursery products as the trial is expanded to London.

Starting this summer, the clothing retailer's trial of allowing customers to have the option to click and collect products from their range of kids' products across clothing and nursery.

This option had been being trialled across 25 Primark stores in Wales and the North West of England and is now expanding into all stories in London, meaning that 57 Primark stores across the company, a third of their total shops in the UK, will offer this.

Paul Marchant, CEO of Primark, said: "We're really encouraged by how the trial has landed with customers, who tell us they value the choice and convenience Click + Collect is offering them.

"We're also seeing strong demand for the service outside the trial region and it's helping us reach new customers too.

"This gives us the confidence to take this trial to the next level and expand it further to more stores to understand how the service can work for a broader range of customers.

"We'll continue to monitor the trial closely as we look to complement the experience and offer we have in our stores."

This initial trial has proved popular in the stores it is available in, with customers having expressed their pleasure at the additional convenience and choice that the service offered.

The trial means that after browsing online and adding items to a virtual shopping basket, customers can choose a day to collect, up to seven days ahead, from their chosen store.

Orders will be available for collection from two days after they have been placed with a £10 minimum order value and no delivery charge and customers will be able to collect their order from dedicated Click + Collect desks in their chosen store and pay for any other items they've picked up while in-store.
