There will be over 60 community events going on in Hounslow across the next 10 days to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.

Libraries will be hosting many exciting events for children for the weekend with story times, crown designing workshops, face painting, and much much more.
The Leader of Hounslow Council, Cllr Shantanu Rajawat said: "The King's Coronation is a momentous occasion in our history and a time for great celebration. I am delighted the borough is coming together to celebrate together in marking this landmark event and we've been supporting residents to extend the celebrations.
"It's a fantastic opportunity for our communities to come together, share food, celebrate friendships and make new ones over the weekend of special events".
After Hounslow Council offered grants of up to £1,000 to help people host a street party for the Coronation weekend, there will be 31 of these community events happening across the borough.
Cabinet Member for Communities and Equalities for Hounslow Council, Cllr Shivraj Grewal added:
"From street parties and garden get-togethers to community events in our green spaces, libraries, and schools, there are plenty of ways everyone can get involved in celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III.
