A MAN has threatened a fellow driver with an axe in a fiery road rage incident that took place in Isleworth.
In a video posted online, the two men are seen confronting each other on St John's Road on Tuesday, July 27, causing traffic to come to a standstill.
The incident is believed to have started because the driver nearest to the camera failed to stop at a red light, according to the other driver.
He's heard shouting: "Why didn't you stop at the red light, d******d?"
As the argument intensifies with lots of swearing, the driver nearest to the camera is seen grabbing an axe and threatening to use it against the other driver.
The other driver encourages him to use it, saying "go on then", before telling bystanders to call the police, "call the police, he's got a hatchet".
The driver with the axe then proceeds to shake his head and put the weapon back in his car.
The two angry drivers continue to swear at each other before eventually getting in their cars and driving off.
No one appears to have been harmed and the incident wasn't reported to the police.
