Our top pick for this week is none other than Brentford's first match of the new season, against Arsenal.

After more than 70 years away from England's top-flight, the Bees will finally be making their long-awaited return on August 13 at 8pm.

If you're looking for pubs and bars to grab a drink before the match, we've got you covered.

Rowans Café Bar on Stile Hall Parade will be open from 5pm to welcome fans ahead of the game.

The owners said: "We've waited 10 years for the new stadium to be built, 10 years of waiting and now it's finally happening."

The newly reopened Six Bells pub on the High Street will also be open to Bees fans prior to the game.

New landlord Peter Clark said: "Would like to wish Brentford all the best for this Friday's game against Arsenal.

"I'll be routing for you!

"Anyone who wants to have a few pre-game drinks will be more than welcome at The Six Bells."
