Hounslow Council approved the budget towards the construction process of Charlton House, Albany House, and Osier Court Estate regeneration project.
Leader of Hounslow Council, Councillor Shantanu Rajawat expressed his approval of the plans and said: "It's incredibly exciting to move this forward from a successful estate ballot.
"I think having good quality houses that are energy efficient for our residents will save them money over the long term.
"It's absolutely the right thing to do. I welcome it."
Plans for 209 homes, retail space and landscaping in the area were approved in December 2022.
Residents of the estate voted in favour of the redevelopment and planning permission was granted for the regeneration proposals in August 2022.
The report says the scheme: "Will deliver highly sustainable, affordable homes together with high quality public realm and landscape for existing and future residents of the estate, which sets the benchmark for the future development in the Borough."
The estate currently comprises 91 homes, 27 garages and 19 commercial units.
There are 19 surface level parking spaces for residents and 71 public car parking spaces in a 'pay and display' car park.
