BRENTFORD and Isleworth MP, Ruth Cadbury, has visited Lakeside Mental Health Unit, as she was invited to a car wash event raising money for charity.

The event which took place on July 22, was hosted by the National Citizen Service (NCS) and saw a total of 13 teenagers wash staff cars.

The money raised from the event was donated to NHS Charities Together.

NCS was inspired to hold an event at Lakeside because, "NHS staff have selflessly worked hard to care for us.

"It only feels right if we give back to the NHS."
