Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a waste transfer station in Brentford.

Fire crews from Ealing, Chiswick and Richmond fire stations attended the scene on Transport Avenue yesterday (Tuesday, April 26) after a call made to the Brigade at 1.02pm.

The fire was under control by 3.12pm, having damaged around 20 tonnes of rubbish in the hours it raged.
