Bin collection days in Hounslow will change next week due to the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Hounslow Council has confirmed that refuse and recycling will not be collected on Monday, May 2.

Collection will instead take place between 7am and 5pm the following day on Tuesday, May 3.

The council has reminded residents to present waste and recycling at the front edge of their properties by 7am and not on the pavement where it could cause an obstruction.

Excess waste left next to or on top of rubbish bins will not be collected.
