The Chair of the Isleworth and Brentford Area Forum, Cllr Tony Louki, has invited residents to the Brentford Free Church for the Isleworth and Brentford Area Forum tomorrow evening (Thursday, February 10).

This will be the first live, face-to-face Area Forum this year and will focus on local issues that are of particular interest to the residents of this area of the borough.

With a packed Agenda of items to discuss it is also the ideal opportunity to raise important community matters with local Councillors.

Topics for discussion include:

  • An update from Brentford FC on how the club is settling into their new stadium; crowd management following the full return of fans and the transport impact of the closure of the Hounslow Loop Line on matchdays
  • A look at the proposed TfL plans for Cycleway 9 which runs from Hounslow Garage to Brentford
  • An opportunity to discuss policing in the area with the local Police Sergeant
  • Information about Hounslow's Summer of Culture Festival, between June – August, and how residents can get involved
  • Thames Water will be providing information about local sewage discharge.
Chair and Councillor Tony Louki said: "I would like to welcome residents and other guests to our Isleworth and Brentford Area Forum, the closest everyone is likely to come to meeting the Councillors from the four Wards of this, the best, part of the London Borough of Hounslow. "Considering the recent changes in health advice, we encourage everyone to take extra care and observe the necessary precautions. "I appreciate Council officers' efforts to encourage participation from residents and welcome questions to the Councillors during the Open Forum part of the meeting." Doors will open at 7pm with the Forum officially starting at 7.30pm. The full meeting Agenda and guidelines for public participation can be found on the Hounslow Council website.
