As part of the Direct-to-Consumer Decision Sciences team, the Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for creating a connected data ecosystem that unleashes the power of our streaming data. We gather data from across all customer/prospect journeys in near real-time, to allow fast feedback loops across territories; combined with our strategic data platform, this data ecosystem is at the core of being able to make intelligent customer and business decisions. Ensure consistent delivery of ICT support services to the school/centre, maintaining high-quality learning facilities. Oversee the clients ICT service as the Network Manager, addressing advanced troubleshooting, maintaining service levels, and identifying network issues. Conduct advanced maintenance of specialised equipment, repairs/modifications, and upgrades within capabilities; coordinate external repairs. Support the Linux estate and management platform, Tanium, ensuring smooth daily operations. Manage endpoint vulnerabilities using tools like Service Now, coordinating with teams for remediation to implement and uphold cybersecurity best practices. Support and continue to improve the Linux Build, ensuring process documentation is maintained to reflect production. Troubleshoot business incidents on the Linux endpoint estate.

Provide technical expertise and domain knowledge - become the primary point of contact for technical expertise and domain knowledge in Video/Broadcast Engineering and the Linear Content Delivery domain. This will require some background in Network fundamentals, familiarity with Cloud concepts, preferably AWS, and some knowledge of IP video fundamentals. Line management responsibilities - coach and lead a set of people with different skills and functions who collaborate to deliver value end-to-end from ideation to production. Drive continuous improvement - collaborate as part of a team of leaders within the platform scope, facilitating and participating in regular reflection and adaptation.
