Tonight, will see four players from the Brentford first team lace up for their countries.

13 Brentford players have been called up for their respective nations this international break.

Nine players from the senior side, while four young Bees are away with their nations' youth teams.

Thomas Strakosha – Albania vs Czech Republic

Albania currently leads Group E in the Euro 2024 qualifying stage. Their upcoming home match against Czechia on Thursday, October 12 at 7:45pm presents an opportunity to solidify their position at the top.

Strakosha, who recently made his Premier League debut, will be eager to build on his performance against Manchester United at Old Trafford

Aaron Hickey - Scotland vs Spain

Aaron Hickey's Scotland currently occupies the top spot in Group A.

Even if they were to face a defeat in their match against second-placed Spain on Thursday, October 12 at 7:45pm, it wouldn't dislodge them from their leadership position.

A win or a draw in Seville on Thursday would secure their place in next summer's tournament in Germany.

They will then take on football giants France in a friendly match scheduled for Tuesday, October 17th, with an 8 pm kick-off at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

Bryan Mbeumo - Cameroon vs Russia

Bryan Mbeumo's Cameroon embarks on a series of international friendlies during this break, following their successful qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations last month.

Their first friendly match will be against Russia in Moscow on Thursday, October 12 at 5pm.

Later, they will face off against Senegal, an all-African encounter, on Monday, October 16 at 7:30pm.

Kristoffer Ajer - Norway

Also in Group A, Norway finds themselves in the third position.

Kristoffer Ajer, along with the likes of Erling Haaland and Martin Ødegaard, will face the bottom-placed Cyprus on Thursday, October 12 at 7:45pm.

They will confront Spain in a crucial clash on Sunday, October 15 at 7:45pm.

A victory in this match could see Norway surpass Spain in the qualification standings.
