Romeo Beckham is currently in training with Brentford B following the end of the Major League Soccer Next Pro season.

Beckham, 20, who is the son of David Beckham, is contracted to Inter Miami II, the reserve side of his father's MLS franchise, but he has returned to London during the off season to play with Brentford B.

The Times reported yesterday that he had been training with the Bees, but it is not yet known how long Beckham will remain with the B Team, the team which supplements their first team in the Premier League whilst acting outside of the remit of a traditional youth team.

The 20-year-old winger used to play in the Arsenal academy alongside his two brothers Brooklyn, 23, and Cruz, 17, leaving in 2015.

Following this departure he took an absence from football in which he pursued a tennis career for five years, before he returned to football in 2020 when he joined Fort Lauderdale CF in USL League One, the American third tier.

Playing for the Inter Miami reserve side last season he picked up 20 appearances scoring twice and getting ten assists.

He has played for the first team, although not in a competitive fixture, having been brought off the bench in the 86th minute by head coach Phil Neville in a friendly against Barcelona in July.
