Regan Graver said that Brentford Women just failed to produce in the second half of their 5-1 loss against Dorking Wanderers Ladies.

The Bees were level at the break in Sunday's L&SEWFL Division One North encounter, but Wanderers pulled away after the break, scoring four times to inflict Brentford's first league defeat since September.

Graver admitted that the team were excited to put on another strong second half showing, which has become a trademark in recent weeks, but they just didn't play as they should.

Speaking to club media, she said: "Everyone was buzzing in the changing room, we felt ready for the second half and to go out there and get the win.

"Unfortunately, we didn't deliver which is tough to take.

"Overall, we definitely should have played better in the second half, we started the game so well, but it seemed to all fall apart in the second 45.

"I think our heads just dropped immediately after their early goal, we weren't playing as positively as we usually do, and we didn't really look like we were going to score enough goals which would get us back in the game."

Graver said that the Bees have no other choice but to bounce back as they have two consecutive away games against Leatherhead and Richmond Park coming up, and they need to take maximum points to continue their promotion push.

She said: "After this loss we need to pick ourselves up and give it our all for the rest of the season.

"If we end up dropping anymore more points then it could completely rule out promotion, so we must get back to winning ways and keep Dorking on their toes."
