Brentford Women manager Karleigh Osborne wants his team to put on a show for the fans as they try and set a new attendance record for Bedfont Sports Club this Sunday.

Brentford Women are attempting to break the attendance record for Bedfont Sports Club when they face local rivals Richmond Park on Sunday 2nd April in the L&SEWFL Division One North.

Osborne said that he wants to show fans what his team are capable of and look to build a regular support base for Brentford Women.

He said: "I think it is massively important [to get fans to the Richmond game], the girls need the support and they want the support.

"It will definitely show far the club has come in the time that I have been here and the time that Roger and Amy have been running it.

"We want to build a fan base for ourselves, we want to have fans more regularly at our games, especially at home creating an atmosphere and making it difficult for teams to come and play against us, but also giving us that little bit extra when we need it.

"It is going to be very important and it is just another opportunity for us to show what we are capable of."

The Bees set the record at their home ground last year when they defeated Sport London E Benfica 7-2.

Osborne said: "It was incredible [last year] and that was the benchmark because it was going to be the biggest crowd that most of the girls had played in front of.

"It was a fantastic day, nice and loud, everyone was right next to the pitch and there was a level of pressure that came with that.

"I look forward to hopefully filling the stadium again and creating that same atmosphere and putting on another show for the fans."
