Work has begun on creating an office hub in the heart of Brentford as more people are working away from central London during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Digital Dock will offer workspaces, including WiFi and meeting areas.

Hounslow Council has not said when the hub will open but workmen have been seen gutting the former Martins newsagent shop premises.

It is hoped that as well as providing affordable workspace, the hub will give high street shops and coffee outlets a much-needed boost as work on the opposite side of the street at the Ballymore development has seen footfall drop.
