In 1943, two intelligence officers conceived an ingenious plan called Operation Mincemeat--get a corpse, equip it with secret, but false and misleading, papers concerning an Allied invasion, then drop it off the coast of Spain where German spies would, they hoped, take the bait. Colin Firth and Matthew Macfadyen star as the intelligent officers in this entertaining film.

With a career built for this very moment, the seminal award-winning actor must take on the role of a lifetime: Nicolas Cage.

These hallucinations arouse the suspicions of Charlotte Rampling's shrewd abbess, Sister Felicita, whose distrust grows when a farm girl called Bartolomea (Daphné Patakia) enters the convent seeking refuge, and quickly develops an attraction to Benedetta.
