Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

FRIDAY: The Gruffalo at Watermans

Watermans presents their 2021 Christmas Show - the Tall Stories production of The Gruffalo, starting this week.

Tall Stories' magical, musical adaptation of the children's iconic picture book promising songs, laughs and monstrous fun.

The performance is ideal for children aged three and up and their grown-ups.

Running at Watermans, from Thursday 2, December to Saturday 11, December with 1.30pm and 4.00pm shows.

SATURDAY: Festive activities at Boston Manor Park Two activities for all ages are taking place this Saturday at Boston Manor Park. The first is a festive, natural art making event at the playground to create a nature crown and simple, seasonal tree decorations from natural materials. They will be painting bird boxes too which will go up in the park! There will also be a bird walk and survey event taking place on Saturday from 8:30 – 10am. You can join natural park manager, Vanessa for a walk around the park, woodland and meadow to survey and record the different bird species. For this event, meet on the main lawn by the Manor House. SUNDAY: Christmas Open Studio at The Loft

The Loft in Brentford will be hosting a festive Christmas Open Studio for their final weekend of the year.

A fantastic chance to discover and support local small businesses, there will be affordable art for sale from local artist Mr Mr Pearce.

Doors will be open on the 4th and 5th of December from 10.30 am - 4.30 pm.

There are also other small, local businesses in the area to check out for a hot or cold beverage!
