This Christmas at Watermans will feature a musical version of The Pixie and the Pudding, a tale from Scandinavian folklore, brought to life with puppetry and an original score.

Waterman's is a West London based arts centre who put on shows, films and events every week.

The Pixie and the Pudding will be performed from 6 – 30 December to both schools and public audiences and performed at Watermans by internationally renowned puppetry company Little Angel Theatre after its successful premiere at their north London venue back in 2019.

The musical is written by Barb Jungr and Samantha Lane and directed by former.

Barb Jungr, who composed the music and lyrics for The Pixie and the Pudding is considered one of the most accomplished British singers of her generation. The singer has composed and written extensively for children and family musical theatre, especially in recent years collaborating with Little Angel Theatre and Samantha Lane.

Samantha Lane, LAT's Artistic Director and director of The Pixie and the Pudding said: "I am so excited that we are taking our beloved Pixie - and all her farmyard friends - to Watermans this Christmas. It's such a magical, festive story - full of catchy songs and great puppetry. I challenge anyone not to fall in love with this cheeky, hungry little sprite!"
