Drivers in Brentford faced long tailbacks this morning due to a series of traffic lights.

Vehicles stretched half a mile back to Syon Lane at around 9am this morning.

Bus services were also caught up in the delays.

Traffic light systems have been introduced to allow vehicles and construction equipment to come in and out of the Ballymore development in Brentford High Street.

Other developments are also being constructed further down London Road towards Hounslow.
