The Weir is offering a takeaway drinks selection for those who are not ready for bed when the pubs are forced to shut at 10pm due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Drinkers can select their favourite draught beer which will be poured into handy new refrigerated takeaway bags that can contain between one and four pints.

For cocktail lovers, a new new bottled cocktail range has been premixed for home-drinking.

Tipplers can choose from Pornstar 2.0, Watermelon Fizz, Mojito, Weir Spritz, Espresso Martini, Negroni or Old Fashioned.

The Weir, in Market Place, is open Thursday to Sunday inclusive.
