THE Six Bells pub in Brentford will reopen later this month, the new landlord has announced.

The pub, located at 148 Brentford High Street, has been closed for the last two years and renovation works are currently underway.

Work on the back bar has been completed, while the garden clearing is currently taking place.

Today (July 6), workers are also installing scaffolding on the front in order to refurbish the pub's façade.

The pub's new landlord, Peter Clark, took to Facebook to announce the news: "The Six Bells will be reopening at the end of the month. All TBC (to be confirmed).

"Anything about the pub will be on the Facebook page, including an email address for enquiries.

"Thank you all for the huge support already!"

More information on The Six Bells will follow in the next few days, so stay tuned.
