SYON House has come to the end of its trial opening and is now getting ready for its official reopening later this month.

The House opened its doors to the public on a trial basis on June 10, but yesterday (July 2) announced that the trial had ended.

The Duke of Northumberland's property is now getting ready to reopen officially again on July 21 and it will move back to free flow visits, subject to any government guideline changes.

During the trial period, visitors were accompanied by House Guides, but from later this month visitors will be free to explore the House themselves.

In the meantime, the Gardens and the Great Conservatory are still open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:30am to 4:30pm.
