Star Wars star Daisy Ridley has been spotted with a large film crew at Syon House filming her new movie.

Ridley, who played Rey in the most recent Star Wars trilogy, was seen in Brentford filming her new film 'Mapgie', which was written by her husband Tom Bateman, which was confirmed as being filmed in late January.

Reports in BrentfordTW8.com showed photos of the film crew at Syon House working on the film as a large crowd gathered to watch from a distance.

The noir film directed by Sam Yates, in which Ridley and Shazad Latif star, tells the story of a father chaperoning his daughter, who is co-starring in a film with a popular actress, whilst his wife is at home with their new-born baby, but he begins to fall in love with the actress.

Yates said of the film to Screen Daily: "I immediately connected with Tom Bateman's ingenious, intoxicating script. I'm excited to take audiences on a wild, surprising thrill ride with our stellar cast led by the incomparable Daisy Ridley."
