British Transport Police investigating a sexual assault on-board a train between Putney and Brentford have now released CCTV images in connection with the incident.

At just after midnight on May 17, the victim was waiting for a train at Putney station when she was approached by a man who began talking to her.

On board the train, the man followed her to a set of seats and said, "you're my type". He continued to talk to her throughout the journey before touching her inappropriately.

Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.

If you recognise him or have any further information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 374 or 17 May.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
