The Role
Our client are looking for an experienced Nursery Cook who already has some experience as a Cook / Chef in a School, Nursery or Care home environment. You will be responsible for:
- Cooking for up to 75 children between the ages of 5 months to 5 years old on a daily basis.
- Ensuring all special dietary requirements are met daily and recorded;
- Working closely with the Manager and Nursery staff to set prepare daily menus.
- Maintaining stock rotation.
- Order plaining and budget control on a weekly basis.
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy (including periodically deep cleaning) and ensuring Food Hygiene standards are maintained.
- Adhering to all Nursery policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of management accounts for UK and overseas subsidiaries in foreign currency and consolidations
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving differences
- Liaising with various internal teams and building strong relationships
- Intercompany reconciliations & reporting- monthly reporting of intercompany loans, deposits, interest, invoices
- Completion of forecast/budget P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and comparison to actual
- Preparation of ad-hoc management analysis to aid decision making
- Assisting with on-going and newly created projects
- Processing Payroll, VAT and other statutory returns
- Preparation and understanding of production overheads and marketing costs & accruals
- Preparation of statutory financial statements using in-house package and some liaison with external auditors
- Suggestions for process improvements and efficiency
- Head Office Reporting monthly & annually
Prospero Teaching is looking for an KS2 teacher to join an experienced and supportive teaching team in Hounslow. The role will be teaching a KS2 class (year group TBC) and will be for the full school year starting September 2023 and ending in July 2024, although this is a 1 year contract the contract can potentially turn permanent.
