In a social media post she said: "Delighted to announce that I have been unanimously re-selected as the Labour candidate for Brentford & Isleworth.

"Thank you to all members in local branches and all affiliates that agreed to reselect me to stand as the Labour candidate & to give me the chance to continue to represent our local area- which has been my home for over 30 years."
