The Brentford & Chiswick Local History Society will host their next talk online with John Collins presenting "Refurbishing Boston Manor House".
A Jacobean Manor House built in 1622, Boston Manor House has been undergoing painstaking restoration work not seen since damage inflicted by a V1 bomb during World War II.
Re-opened as a museum by The Queen Mother in 1963, the talk now scheduled into that work will be fascinated for people interested in historic houses and the history of Brentford.
Ahead of its impending re-opening John Collins, Hounslow's Historic Houses Manager, will with his vast expertise describe how the story of Boston Manor House will be presented to visitors and discuss the ways in which the restored building will be used.
The talk will start at 7.30pm on Monday, October 17, on Zoom, where The Brentford & Chiswick Local History Society will open the event at 7.15pm to allow attendees to settle in advance of the start.
There is no charge to join the event, but you must reserve your place via Ticket Tailor.
