Creative students have made it a record-breaking year for the University of West London (UWL) after scooping three wins from the prestigious industry, YCN New Now awards.

The students from UWL's Advertising & Public Relations BA (Hons), and Graphic Design BA (Hons), courses won three commendations in the creative contest which runs each year to connect students with industry through competition briefs set by brands and their agencies.

This year's judges awarded Advertising and PR graduate, Eleanor Roberts the win for the third time with her work on WRAP, a campaign to promote recycling.

Two teams of second-year students also earned honours for their cross-course collaboration - including STA Travel made up of Yasmine Jobrani, Gabriela Popova, Chand Khan, and Adrianna Bogut), and Stance, made up of Radu Paun, Laura Vidmantaite, and Gurkiran Ghatora).

Paul Lohneis, Head of UWL's London School of Film, Media and Design said: "As the Career University, competitions like this and connections with our own industry network mean that our students are industry-ready upon graduation.

"We're very proud to see our students' creative, engaging work honoured in this internationally recognised competition.
