Brentford should brace for severe disruption to railway services this week as a summer of strikes looks set to continue.

Severely reduced train timetables will run on several South Western Railway (SWR) routes to and from London and much of the network will be closed as more than 2,100 union members who work for SWR strike on Wednesday (July 27).

Would-be customers are urged to only travel by rail if absolutely necessary and note that there will be a late-starting service in operation on Thursday, July 28.

To London Waterloo (via Brentford) the first train departs Windsor & Eton Riverside 07:30. The final train departs Windsor at 17:30.
