Met detectives have charged two men with the murder of Tyreece Scott in Hounslow.

Ben Laing, 23, from Feltham, and Duarra Abdi, 19, from Acton, were charged with murder on Sunday, 21 January.

They will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today (Monday, 22 January).

The men were arrested at Stansted Airport on Friday, 19 January after arriving back to the UK.

An investigation was launched after Scott was found with a stab wound in Grove Road at around 1:15am on Tuesday, 16 January.

Emergency services provided emergency first aid, however the 24-year-old died at the scene.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Thursday, 18 January confirmed he died as a result of a stab wound to the chest.

Laing was also charged with being involved in the supply of drugs and Abdi was also charged with possession of a bladed object.

His family have been informed of this latest development and continue to be supported by family liaison officers.
