A prior approval application has been put forward to demolish an empty building and erect a four-storey residential block with 24 flats in Isleworth, west London.

The re-development would come to Units 5 and 6 at Victory Business Centre, Worton Road, Isleworth where both units are vacant.

Developers Dunmoore Group, plan to convert the former office space into a residential complex, comprising of 16 one-bedroom flats and eight two-bedroom flats.

The residential units will come with 29 car parking spaces, including one for disabled parking, six for active electric vehicle (EV) charging, and 23 for passive EV charging.

Additionally, there will be storage for 30 bicycle parking spaces located to the west of the building.

Working on the design plans is Frost Architects, who say in the design statement: "The height and massing of the building is the same as the approved scheme for Units 9 and 10.

"The appearance looks to reflect the style of the existing building and its context within the business park.

"The red brick external finish is maintained with projecting piers providing a four/five bay rhythm to the facades."

Dunmoore Group already received approval for a similar build to the neighbouring Units 9 and 10 in December 2023 of a five-storey residential block with 33 flats.

In the application form, developers say: "The principle for the development is established within the Order and will deliver 24 much needed new homes to the Borough in a sustainable location whilst also assisting, via a re-build, to bring a long vacant development site back into active use."
