This week is London Repair Week and as part of this event there are several exciting events happening in Brentford and Hounslow.

The Parish of Brentford churches St Faith's and St Paul's are hosting events this week with an environmental theme for people to get involved with.

This Friday 24th March there will be a special guest lecture at the weekly Clothes Repair Café at Spice Café at St Paul's Church.

Yukiko Munemoto, a textile artist living in London, will be speaking between 9.30 and 11.30am to give insights and advice to those in attendance.

The Clothes Repair Café is a weekly group that tackles a range of mending projects, as well as having these guest tutors once a month, and everyone who goes gets a free sewing kit.

Also, starting soon will be a series of monthly workshops run by Cultivate London to create a community garden at St Paul's church garden.

Between Thursday 13th April and Saturday 16th September, people can go along and help in the creation of this community garden, working step-by-step through this gardening journey.
