TWO new models of electric cargo bikes are now available for sale in Brentford.

Jamie Clark first adapted a folding electric bike to carry his two children to school and avoid the traffic.

He then started a quest to find more and better options for families who want to travel in a more environmentally friendly way.

With that in mind, he launched J'aimebike last year and has now released two new models - the Bike 43 and the Kiffy.

They both have extra-low centres of gravity, lightweight frames and easy gear shifting.

The Bike43 has a load capacity of 170kgs, a larger front wheel and a smaller rear wheel, to ensure it rides smoothly over bumps and kerbs, while the 500Wh battery has a range of up to 62 miles.

The Kiffy is more impact and can be stored vertically.

It has a load capacity of 190kgs and a Bosch motor with a range of up to 43 miles.

Both bikes are slim enough to fit in the hallway of a standard family home and come with a lifetime warranty for the original owner.
