Brentford will have a new fish and chip shop this week.

The chippy is due to open on Thursday at 9 London Road.

Cod Rock marks the first exclusively fish and chip shop in Brentford for many years.

Brentford people have been welcoming the chippy on social media.

One post read: "Just what Brentford needs. A good quality fish and chip place. Can't wait for it to open."
